Robert Henry ERWIN

ERWIN– Robert Henry Erwin passed away April 14 at the Ashcroft Medical Facility.


Bob was born Jan 1, 19191 in Ione, Oregon to Jean Henry and Arthur Edwin Erwin.


The Erwin Family later moved to the Prescott, WA area where Bob graduated from Prescott High School in 1937. He attended college for one year at Washington State College in Pullman after which he returned to farm with his Father.


On September 13, 1941 he and Lorita Harter were married at St. Patrick’s Church in Walla Walla, WA. The farmed at Prescott until November 1961 when they moved to 70 Mile House and Clinton, BC.


For a number of years he worked construction and then began working at the Diamond S Ranch at Pavilion BC for the Termuende Family. He retired at the age of 80.


He is survived by his wife Lorita Erwin of Clinton, BC; daughter and son in law Carol Lee and Robin Moses of Port Angeles, WA; daughter and son in law Susan and David Wright of Tatla Lake, BC; son and daughter-in-law David and Lesley Erwin of Carvel, AB; grandchildren Rob Wright (Shawna) of Kamloops; Lee Anne Reid (Dan) of Tatla Lake BC; Scott Erwin (Lisa) of Stony Plain, AB; and Jamie Ritchie (Matt) of Grande Prairie, AB; step-grandsons Mike Moses (Kathi) of Walla Walla and Mason Moses of Boca Raton, FL.


His great grandchildren are Ben and Hannah Erwin; Natasha and Nicolas Wright and Harry Ritchie; step grandchildren are Trevor and Kamille Moses and Channing Moses.


Bob is also survived by his sister Jean Ronald (Chuck) of Aurora, Il; sister-in-law Betty Erwin of Walla Walla, WA; numerous nieces and nephews in Walla Walla, WA and in other states.


He was pre-deceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Barbara Erwin and Wally Hunt; brother and sister-in-law Jim and Becky Erwin; brother Sam Erwin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gerald and June Harter.


A memorial service will be held on May 6, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Clinton Community Hall.
