ST. DENNIS, Roger

(1936 - 2008)


It is with the deepest sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Lewis Roger St. Dennis (Roger) beloved

husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Roger passed away in Kamloops on October 30, 2008 after a long and arduous illness following an initial diagnosis of kidney cancer. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 47 years, Bettie, son Stewart and wife Charlotte, son Patrick, five grandchildren – Caitlin, Patrick Anthony, Sarah, Ian and James, mother-in-law Mildred Clarke, four sisters, Ardath Weiszbeck (Joe), Patricia Coutts, Marion White, and Inez St. Dennis, one brother Patrick (Mary), two sisters-in-law Louise Potvin (David), Cindy Clarke (Jim Willett), and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Roger was predeceased by his son Michael, his parents, Roy and Ethel, and his father-in-law Ellis Clarke. Roger and Bettie lived in Chetwynd, Prince George, Slave Lake AB, Fort St. John, Cranbrook, Edson, AB and finally, four years ago, retired to Ashcroft. A Celebration of Roger’s Life was held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ashcroft Senior’s Hall, 601 Bancroft Street, Ashcroft. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or another charity of the donor’s choice.
