It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, friend, and cousin.
Shannon Lee, born to Patrick Louis and Marianne Harrington, in 1968, Shannon was the first Cariboo baby of the year.
Her early years were spent in Williams Lake, with a brief time in the Yukon, before completing her schooling in Williams Lake.
In 2000, while working at Gang Ranch, Shannon met Kurt Brown, a young cowboy. They married in 2001, had a son, Pearce in 2002, and a daughter, Skylar, in 2004. Shannon's love of the Western way of life, took her to several renowned ranches, with her most cherished years spent at the Ashcroft Ranch. The past four years found her in Clinton where she made many lasting friendships.
Shannon is survived by her children Pearce Brown, Skylar Brown, her mother Marianne (Cam) Drinnan, her brother Reid (Angela) Harrington, her Uncle Steve (Nancy) Larsen, her former husband Kurt Brown and her cousins. She was predeceased by her father Patrick Harrington, her grandmother Karen Larsen, and her Aunt Jette Ashlee.
