ALMER – Sven Gustav Almer a late resident of Ashcroft passed away with his family at his side on Tuesday February 7th, 2006 at the age of 64 years.
Sven is predeceased by his parents John and Anna, sister Annie Fisk, brother John, and sister Ann Maja Eastman. Sven is survived by his loving family his wife Barbara, daughter Jeanette (Pete) LeBlanc, son Steve (Theresa) Almer, grandchildren Bryce, Ryan, Christopher, Brenden, Jordan his sister Bergie Blome of Victoria, mother in law Leah Hedley, brother in law Norm (Shirley) Harris, Don (Sandi) Harris, Ken (Louise) Harris,? nephews Lorne (Linda) Fisk, Karl Fisk, John Blome and niece Lisa Donshy and many other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, Long-term Care and Kitchen Staff at the Ashcroft & District Health Site and also to Randi and Marion of Highland Valley Copper.

A Celebration Of Life Service for Sven was held on Friday February 17th, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ashcroft.
