Born In Drumheller Alberta on September 3rd, 1930 to parents Elizabeth and George Campbell. Bill moved to B.C. at the age of 17 and just never left. He moved to Ashcroft in 1971 with his present wife Bev. Bill worked in the trucking industry for many years and then hired on with the Village of Ashcroft where he remained until retirement. He worked mostly in the Arena and watched all the kids grow up and loved them all. He will always be famous for his “Chocolate Bars” handed out to all and sundry.


Bill is survived by his wife Bev, his sister Anne & Bro - in - Law Ed of Calgary, his sister - in - Law Betty, his grown children from a previous marriage, Mary-Ann, Ann-Marie and Ken, his beloved boys Jeff of Ashcroft and Duncan of Medicine Hat, AB, his nieces and a special nephew Steve Larkman and several grand-children. Bill was predeceased by his daughter Tracey and will be missed by his friends who were great in number, wherever coffee is sold and BS slung, Bill will be dearly remembered.


A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
