Brand goes against costly advise

Reader says Ashcroft's new brand goes against consultant's advice.

People of Ashcroft talk a lot about “Branding” the Village. I was there for the whole sickening thing. A highly paid consultant told us in every detail how to choose a successful Brand. He also said DO NOT choose anything to do with the following themes: Railroad, Cars, Historic, Natural Beauty, and Healthy Living. He repeated himself three times, but somehow we did not get the point. Better luck next time.
