Perhaps it is time to cease quibbling about Ashcroft’s “brand”, and start supporting our mayor in his bid to secure an inland port for our village.
Global news recently reported on an attempt to take land in the Tsawasen/Delta area out of the A.L.R., and establish the inland port there - it is ludicrous to destroy yet more agricultural land! But our mayor claims those in power are not listening to what he has to say about the suitability of this area for the port.
If you want this industry, make some noise!
