On Saturday, May 28, my wife and I took our son Colin to the Bunny Birthday Party at Desert Hills Ranch. Upon our arrival we were informed that the event was cancelled due to a request from the Village. Apparently the reason for this request was a complaint from a resident of Walhachin. If true I would like to know why our Village is beholden to representation from the citizenry of Walhachin - are said Walhachinites paying taxes to Ashcroft? or are beneficiaries of representation without taxation? Regardless, we were very disappointed at the cancellation of this event.
