The proud winners of this year’s “Best Garden Selection” awards received their signs at the Communities in Bloom celebration on July 18.

For the past several years, the Ashcroft Communities in Bloom committee has been recognizing and honouring local citizens for the pride they show in their residences.

Three years ago, Scott’s Canada began sponsoring a program called the “Best Garden Selection” award, which  Communities in Bloom committees can participate in by applying for 10 signs to award to local citizens. Recipients receive a sign to display proudly in their yard, and also receive a Scott’s product.

The recipients of the awards this year were presented with their signs and Scott’s product during the Communities in Bloom 10th anniversary celebration in the Heritage Park on July 18. Congratulations to all, and thank you for helping our community “bloom”. Take a drive around town and look for the winning gardens!
