Hospice carers complete workshop

Six Ashcroft hospice volunteers recently received certificates in Palliative Care training.

Six local volunteers who give their time to caring for those in the Hospice Room at the Ashcroft Hospital recently completed a training course in Kamloops, and have received Hospice Palliative Care certificates.

The Ashcroft hospice is available, free of charge, to anyone in the region in need of hospice care. For more information about the hospice, contact Joan Kealey at (250) 453-2235.
