The Ashcroft and District Lions Club recently donated $1,000 to the South Cariboo Elizabeth Fry Society Food Bank. This was always a pet project of Lions Club member Skip Stuart, and the Club has carried on the tradition.
The Lions could not make this kind of donation if it wasn’t for local communities supporting their projects, such as the 50/50 draw, the monthly Bingo, meals from the concession trailer, etc., and they would like to thank everyone who has supported them each year.
