Truck stolen from Thompson River University’s parking lot in Williams Lake

The 2001 gold Ford F350 was stolen the morning of Dec. 5 while the owner attended class

A truck was stolen this morning, Dec. 5, from the Thompson Rivers University campus in Williams Lake.

Chase Fraser said he parked his 2001 gold Ford F350 truck at the upper parking lot closer to Cataline Elementary School and went to class around 8:30 a.m.

During his residential carpentry class, he received a phone call from his girlfriend, Emma Drury, who said she was driving out to 150 Mile House and passed his truck on the highway but noticed it wasn’t him driving.

Fraser confirmed he was in class, and around 9:30 a.m., he went to the parking lot and saw his truck was gone. Drury drove to the police station to report the stolen vehicle.

The two-toned gold and black 2001 Ford F350’s license plate is SN9303.

Drury picked Fraser up from TRU, and they drove around looking for the vehicle, but “no luck, obviously,” said Fraser.

The Tribune has reached out to the RCMP for comment.
