Promoting and supporting existing and new businesses – support Chamber of Commerce and/or Business Association. Actively promote arts/culture/history/music/events. In 2015, the Economic Development Strategy was developed, which has 39 foundational initiatives identified. Only a few of them have been implemented.
I would like to see a plan to start working on some of these initiatives, search for more funding opportunities, and work collaboratively with the community, First Nations and surrounding towns.
