Residents of the Boston Flats mobile home park near Cache Creek were told they could go home Friday evening.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District announced the risk from the surrounding wildfires, notable the Elephant Hill blaze, has diminshed enough to lift the evacuation order at 5 p.m.

That was set in place three weeks ago.

Other evacuation alerts remain in place. Consult the TNRD website for more details.
