Anne Marie

Fairweather

(Mazurkewich)

November 1, 1957

to August 28, 2010

Quietly, following a brave and prolonged battle with cancer, our Anne passed away at Rotary Hospice House on August 28, 2010. She will always be remembered for her caring and generous spirit, bravery and love of life. Anne was born in the Yukon and with her family relocated to Ashcroft, it is there that Anne’s community spirit and volunteerism took root. While attending UBC she enjoyed a rich and satisfying social life and graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. Anne’s management training at White Spot lead to a long and rewarding career at WorkSafeBC and a move to Richmond. It is in Richmond that Anne made many new friends and raised her family. Anne was a loving mother and her children were the light of her life and her greatest joy. Anne was predeceased by her parents Joe and Patricia Mazurkewich She leaves behind her loving husband David (Carlisle) who cared for her and was at her side to the end. She will be sadly missed by her three children Ross, Sarah and Emily. She also leaves behind her sister, Donna and her brother, Joe (Anita and Jager). Anne will be missed by her many relatives, friends and colleagues. With a heavy heart her devoted friend Shelley says good bye, along with her husband John and their children, who loved Auntie Anne so very much. We will all remember her beautiful smile and the way it would light up a room. Donations can be made in Anne’s memory to the Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House, 6460
