announces that Doris passed away peacefully on September 1, 2010.
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was predeceased by her nine siblings and loving husbands Stanley Anderson and William Weatherly.
Doris is survived by five loving children, Audrey (Ross) Davies, Francis Wells, David (Sharon) Anderson, Edward (Bernadette) Anderson and Donald (Linda) Weatherly.
She will be greatly missed by 13 grandchildren, Tracey, Brad, Angela, Richard, Ronald, Kisa, Kari, Brett, Brodie, Nick, Ericka, Brock and Brittany and six great grandchildren Alyssa, Brandon, Tanner, Alexia, Chantel and Liam.
Doris was born in 1919 to Henry and Lurie David in Whitelaw, Alberta. She was the 9th of 10 children and the last surviving sibling. She was told as a child that she would “never make old bones” but happily celebrated her 90th birthday in 2009.
Doris will be remembered for her witty sense of humour. A loving mom, she enjoyed knitting, reading and crosswords. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
A special thank you to the loving care given to our mother at Pine Grove. She always loved the care and attention given to her.
