Gayle Margaret Spicer passed away peacefully after a month long stay in Vancouver General Hospital on October 7th, 2020.
We will be forever grateful for the wonderful treatment she received at VGH where she revelled in the comfort and care from her nurses, doctors and support network.
Gayle is predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Hayley, and more recently her constant companion, 'Punkin'.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kathleen Harder, Melanie Desjardines, grandchildren Les Harder, Terra Everall, Marina Desjardines, Spencer Desjardines, and great, grandson Owen Everall. Brothers Brent Dickson, and Barry Dickson.
Gayle was born Oct. 14, 1942 in Victoria, B.C.to parents Gordon and Helene (Hamilton) Dickson. She grew up in Abbotsford, married young and moved to Saskatchewan, then briefly to Manitoba, before settling down in Ashcroft with her young family. Through the 80's and 90's she spent her time between Ashcroft and Abbotsford, before retiring to Chase in 2009.
Gayle was well known for her love of "chatting, her keen interest in human behaviour......and her PEPSI!
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
