April 7, 1930 - March 13, 2024
Mom leaves to mourn in her passing her children: Denise (Jerry), Craig (Col), Nadine (Rod), 7 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Mom moved to Ashcroft as a young child along with her parents Tom and Vi Stewart, sister Alice and brother Glen. Mom loved Ashcroft. She did not take kindly to anyone speaking negatively about Ashcroft. She would say they really "ticked her off"!
In her 40's Mom returned to school to upgrade and learn new skills. Mom loved her job and the staff at the Public Health Unit in Ashcroft.
Mom made many special friends over the years. Linda H., Ina E., Evelyn & Arnold W., Uncle Jim, Aunty Marg & family, Brian B., Ward B. and more who saw themselves as friends. Mom loved the time she spent having her hair done by Pam.
Later in life Dementia stole time that Mom's otherwise healthy body would have had. Mom's last years were spent at Gemstone. To the staff who loved and cared about Mom, a heartfelt thank you!
