In Loving Memory ~
Jerry Reed passed away peacefully with his family by his side in his home in Cache Creek on September 10, 2023. He was 88 years of age.
Jerry is survived by his wife Sandra, daughters Vivian Proznick and Janet Sushelnitski of Cache Creek, grandchildren Michael, Brock and Miles of Cache Creek, Austin, and Orin of Fairview Alberta, as well as his four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister Yvonne Berg, brother Fred Reed and parents.
Jerry was born on January 10, 1935, in Nipawin, Saskatchewan to parents Charles Frederick Reed and Lillian Reed (nee Gardiner). He married Sandra on January 30, 1965.
Jerry worked as an orderly in the Ashcroft Hospital before working for BC Highways until his retirement at age 65. He loved music and played in a small band for many years, and enjoyed spending time with his family camping and fishing.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held at a later date.
