Lorita Erwin
On July 20, 2009, Lorita Harter Erwin, passed away suddenly at Aldergrove, British Columbia at the age of 87.
A celebration of her Life will be Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the Clinton, BC Elementary School from 2 to 4 PM. Lorita was born March 11, 1922 in Walla Walla, WA to Harry E. and Helen Schafer Harter. She attended school in Walla Walla, Valley Grove, and Prescott, graduating from Prescott High School in 1940.Lorita and Robert H. Erwin were married at St. Patrick’s Church in Walla Walla on September 13, 1941. They lived and farmed at Prescott for 20 years. In November 1961, they moved to 70 Mile House and then Clinton, BC.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Carol Lee and Robin Moses, Port Angeles, WA; daughter and son-in-law Susan and David Wright, Tatla Lake, BC; son and daughter-in-law David and Lesley Erwin, Carvel, Alberta; grandchildren Rob Wright (Shawna), Kamloops, BC; Lee Anne Wright, Tatla Lake, BC; Scott Erwin (Lisa), Stony Plain, AB; Jamie Ritchie (Matt), Grande Prairie, AB, step-grandsons Mike Moses (Kathi), Walla Walla, and Mason Moses, Boca Raton, FL; great grandchildren Ben and Hannah Erwin, Natasha and Nicholas Wright, Harry Ritchie; step-grandchildren Trevor and Kamille Moses and Channing Moses; sister-in-law Jean Ronald.
