Olga Vecqueray, age 75 of Clinton passed away June 15, 2011 at the 100 Mile District Hospital. She was born October 31, 1935 on the family farm in Manitoba.
Olga came from a large family of 13 children; 7 boys and 6 girls. She came out West around the age of 15 and married Richard Vecqueray in August of 1955. She worked as a cook for many years in Clinton and surrounding area.
Olga took great pleasure in helping other people whether it was for a meal, a place to stay, or to lend a few dollars. She loved to laugh, have fun and loved being around people. Olga is survived by her 3 children Vickie (Don) Kapitanuk, Dale (Kathy) Vecqueray and Holly (Chuck) Russell, 2 grandchildren Donova (John) Dundas and Hunter Russell, 2 great grandsons Alexander and Jackson Dundas, 4 of her sisters and 4 of her brothers.
Olga will be forever loved and remembered by family and friends. Cremation arrangements were made and at Olga’s request there will be no memorial service.
