Rita is survived by her close companion Fred Basil; mother Cecilia Ethel Terry; paternal grandmother Alice Riley; maternal step grandmother Aggie James; children Colleen Maria Thompson, Fabian Terry, Farren Oliver Terry, Blaine Louise Terry, Owen Evan Terry, Trina Marie Terry; Grandchildren: Rebecca Rose Leanne Terry, Kyle Thompson; Siblings: Farrell Lewis Terry, Roberta Rose Pelegrin, Ina Inez (Rubin) Williams, Elizabeth Colleen (Earl) Tom, Annette Elaine Priscilla Doss as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Rita was predeceased by her father Vern Stanley Patrick (Vern Cody); maternal grandparents: Irene (Alexander) Terry, David Terry and her paternal grandfather Stanley Gott.
A funeral mass for Rita was held on March 22 at St. Stephens Catholic Church Nxwisten, St’at’imc Nation (Bridge River). Followed by burial in the Nxwisten (St’at’imc Nation) cemetery.
