Robert Bruce Cunningham passed away peacefully at his home in Ashcroft, B.C. the morning of April 20, 2016.

Bob was born May 5, 1935 in Niagara Falls, Ontario to Gavin and Edna Cunningham. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 7 years and attended the University of Western Ontario. Bob was a licensed real estate broker for almost 50 years, owning and operating three real estate companies and one appraisal company and serving as Real Estate Board President for 2 terms. He continued working full-time until six months ago when his health began to decline. Bob also served as President of the Chamber of Commerce, City Alderman, scout leader, and local Red Cross Chairman and was very active in many Lion’s Club chapters and positions for over 45 years.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, and granddaughter, Sara. He is survived by his ex-wives, Jane and Shirley, children Brenda (Doug) Wiseman and Jody Ceasor, step-children Michelle (Christopher) Barry, Charmaine (Dariel) Saucedo, and Brian (Nikaya) Loverin, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Marg (Jim) McGregor and Helen (Ed) Steeves, and many, many friends.

A celebration of Bob’s life will take place at the ReMax office in Ashcroft on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
