LOMOND
Robert Joseph  Lomond passed away suddenly on Monday February 12, 2007 in Edmonton, Alberta. Robert is survived by his loving family his Parents Joseph and Marguerite Lomond of Thompson River Estates, his children Katherine, Chelsea, Brandon, Benjamin, former wife Karen all of Armstrong, sisters Cathy (Bob) Comte and son Keith of Kamloops, Patti (Kirk) Stott and stepchildren Karlee, Dillion all of Kelowna, and many Aunts, Uncles and other relatives and friends. Robert was born and raised in Ashcroft. Robert was in his 18th year in the Military and served in Gage Town, Camp Borden, Bosnia on peacekeeping and in Edmonton. Robert was proud of his career in the Military but more was proud of being a devoted father to his 4 children. Robert’s favorite pastime was monkey wrenching on his friends cars. A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday February 17th at 11:00 am at the Ashcroft Community Hall with Fr. Malcolm DeWeese Celebrant. Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ashcroft entrusted with arrangements.
