WONG, SHIRLEY
Sadly, Shirley Wong passed away in Vancouver, BC
on February 13, 2012, at the age of 72.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Park; son Rick;
daughter Lorraine; daughter-in-law Anita; son-in-law Dale;
grandson Brandyn and granddaughter Nicole.
Shirley came to Ashcroft as a newly married teenager and together with her life-long partner Park ran a successful business and raised a family. Central Café was a great place to make long-lasting friendships and memories for all generations of families. With Shirley there was “no substitutions in any of the Chinese combination dinners”.
Our family would like to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to the many friends in Ashcroft and the surrounding communities for their friendship, support and kindness.
