Dodd: Thomas James (Tom)- Died suddenly as the result of an train accident near Lillooet on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at the age of 55.


He is survived by his daughter Kimberly of New Zealand; son, William of Jasper; mother Eva of Penticton; brother, Barry of Chilliwack; sister, Sandy Bach (Reg ) of Kelowna; special aunt Kathleen Carlson of Rock Creek; numerous nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. He loved the railroad and followed in his fathers footsteps in going to work with them. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent his spare time, fishing, skiing, mountain biking and “drifting the South Thompson.”


A service to celebrate his life was held on Thursday, July 6th at 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, Eckhard Ave. W, Penticton. His cremated remains will be interred on Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery, Lower Bench Rd. Penticton. In lieu of flowers donations to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
