On Mon., Feb. 7 the Village of Cache Creek along with the Village of Ashcroft held the annual Variety Bingo. It is with great pleasure that I report that our communities and surrounding area did a fantastic job of raising $1,015 after all the bills were paid. Well done!
Shannara Wong Woodburn, along with her mom Tanya, presented the bingo money and other monies raised by Shannara on the Variety Telethon on Feb. 13.
Well done everyone. Despite the snow, we had 82 people turn out. Thank you to our councils for supporting a very worthy event. It’s for our children.
I would also like to thank Cheryl’s Restaurant, Hungry Herbies, Barb Davidson, Cache Creek Recreation, members of the Lions Club - Nick, Keith and Betty Ann, Donna, Tanya, Jackie, Ines, Cache Creek Village crew for setting up the hall and making sure the parking lot was cleared, both councils and the Cache Creek Village office staff. Thank you to all of you.
